Golden Eagle Nesting Surveys in a COVID-19 World

With the assistance of colleagues in Montana, we are conducting limited nest surveys in our Livingston, Montana Golden Eagle study area this year. 2020 marks the 11th consecutive year we’re monitored nesting eagles in our study area and while the effort will be reduced this year, we are thankful to have any data coming in at all. The safety and health of anyone working on our field staff as well as the communities in which we work is our #1 priority thus the surveys will be conducted to minimize all contact.
